Roger Marrero
Roger is a Partner at Whistler Capital and Member of the Investment Committee and Valuation Committee. Prior to joining Whistler Capital, Roger served as Managing Partner at Comvest Private Equity, Comvest Partners’ private equity strategy and was a member of the Firm’s Executive Committee and Investment Committee. Roger led all key aspects of the investment process including sourcing, execution and leading the initial launch and development of OAG, the Operating Advisory Group to the Comvest Portfolio. Previously, Roger was a Principal at ABRY Partners and at Apax Partners. Prior to Apax, he was an Associate at Hicks, Muse, Tate & Furst. Roger began his career at Goldman Sachs in the M&A group.
Roger currently serves as a Director on the Board of AmeriPro Health. Roger has served as Director on the Boards of Your Behavioral Health, Fast Med Urgent Care, D&S Community Health, Tekelec, SunteckTTS, Red Hawk, Inter-American Health, Marcal, VandeMark, and AxisPoint Health.
Roger received an M.B.A. from Harvard Business School and graduated from the University of Texas at Austin and received his Bachelor of Arts in Plan II (Honors Liberal Arts) and a Bachelor of Business Administration in Finance and Business Honors Program.
